Thanks for this.. I don't have my Tivo phone line in unless the screen tells me only 7 days left ..Time to get off the computer and plug in the Tivo and get updated.

will & grace was alright. there were an awful lot of weirdly bleh scenes, though. the writing (and somehow they managed to muck up the camera work too) was terribly middle of the road for that show, which is usually 85% hilarious.

You already saw the premiere of Will & Grace?

freakgirl at September 16, 2004 10:06 AM

Yea, Will & Grace was on last night here in Canada. I thought the same things too, sam, but I did laugh quite a few times.

Toby at September 16, 2004 10:45 AM

aaaah. Neat.

8:35 to 9:19? 9:19 to 11:00? I hate the networks with the fiery passion of a thousand suns.

brian w at September 16, 2004 10:50 AM

No shit, man.

freakgirl at September 16, 2004 11:17 AM

Does this make the Apprentice conflict with Survivor?

Hayley at September 16, 2004 12:12 PM

I think Survivor is 8 to 9. I don't think Mark Burnett would put his own shows on at the same time.

freakgirl at September 16, 2004 12:24 PM

freakgirl - as toby said, it premiered last night in canada. and i did laugh a few times too during the show; it's just that there were a lot of weirdly boring jokes in the episode. it will pick up.

sam at September 16, 2004 12:26 PM

I just wish Tivo had told me that my new local Fox affiliate apparently runs two minutes late.

Then I wouldn't have missed the SNEAK PEEKS at the end of the OC special. Sigh.

Thank heaven for bittorrent.

brian w at September 16, 2004 11:31 PM

Is this a network's ploy to get more folks to watch live, by not announcing changes soon enough for time-shifting dvr's to catch it? Or did they just oversell the commercial spots?
