Yeah, I'm just gonna TV all the Survivor stuff and watch all the other shows "live" and maybe. That way when I do watch Survivor, I can ff through all the junk...

I've also found that I can almost watch two shows at once by TiVoing one, watching the other live, and watching the TiVoed show during the live show's commercial breaks. While I'm spinning plates on a stick!

You have TWO Tivos?
How much tv do you watch?

I know, it's gross, right? We mostly did it because a) the boxes were on sale at the time, and b) my elliptical machine is in our bedroom, and I really wanted to be able to always have something to watch in order to coerce myself into working out. And now we have them networked together, so we can pass shows back and forth from the living room to the bedroom and we are just so awesome.

Plus there's Significant Others on Bravo... And I don't even have a TIVO

Honestly, I don't think that having two TiVo makes us watch any more TV than having one did. It's more a matter of convenience than anything else -- the ability to watch things from either the living room or the bedroom. For instance, we prefer to watch SNL from bed on Saturday night, and usually watch The Daily Show from the previous day before bed during the week.

Also, two TiVos keeps Freakgirl and I from having to haggle over what to record, since our tastes only converge about half the time. It's the key to any good marriage. :)
