Wow, you are much nicer than I am. I really thought Bree couldn't have cared less about the bed and cared only about Rex suffering on the stairs. I also thought if Lynette was that kind of short-sighted competitor in the workplace, it's amazing she had a job as long as she did!

I guess there's two ways of seeing Bree's reaction; hopefully we'll find out next week which one it was. I immediately thought that she went into complete shock. Her reaction at the doctor's office - "oh, you're going to be just fine" - made me think she's in total denial about his health.

But, she really was infuriated at Rex, so perhaps she actually was trying to teach him a lesson. Why, though? Is she really that cruel?

Bree isn't stupid, and I don't care for this storyline where she's so naive about George that she can't see what's going on right in front of her. ERECTION, for the love of god.

Well, I agree with you, of course, and I think that's my problem with the show, they establish the way that these characters are, and then they do something *completely* out of character. Like I know that Carlos and Gabrielle were sort of noveau riche and thoughtless in the beginning, but now the two of them are such souless freaks I can't care about them at all! I know it's a show and I know I should suspend my disbelief, but sometimes I feel like it's really pushed.

I just keep in mind Melrose Place, where in the beginning they were all nice, normal people. And by the end of the second season they were all evil clowns. Which ruled my world.

Ha! Sing it, sister!

This episode was so good. Carlos and Gabby are kind of on my nerves, too. But, I did laugh when visiting Carlos in jail and he said the police think he's some kind of serial gay basher Gabrielle replied, "Well, you sort of are."

Personally I can't wait for the fallout when Gay Matt finds out his wife fucked him right in the ass, TWICE, professionally. Oooh yeah.

Oooh YEAH!

re: Grey's Anatomy-- Cristina is pregnant and wants to have an abortion. Burke doesnt know. Meredith tried to get personal information from Patrick Dempsey (where he lives, does he have friends, sort of basic stuff considering "they have sex every night") and he doesnt give it up. Finally he shows her that he lives in an airstream (Apprentice!) trailor.

RE: Grey's Anatomy - Dr. McDreamy became even more dreamy on Sunday! Also, George take the advice of Cristina and asks a nurse out (which according to the "Next Week On..." teaser, is going to lead to problems, medically speaking...Dun Dun Dunnnn!). And finally we find out that Izzy left her trailer park life and mother behind at 18 and never looked back. That is until the end of the episode, when she finally bakes cupcakes like mom used to make and calls home.

thanks, guys!

I LOVE Felicia also. It started with the knife-under-the-table conversation with Paul and now it's full on adoration. I think she's actually my favorite character for now.
I didn't see any indication that Bree was in denial while making the bed. I'm pretty sure she was just being vindictive. When the heart attack started, she was telling him she regretted ever marrying him. Maybe it was a little denial over how serious the attack was, but I don't think that entirely explains it.
Are the new neighbors going to be central characters next season? They need new blood to dilute the importance of Susan in the plotline.
