Did you see Shawn the next day on "Martha"?

Yes! What is with the cigar?? I don't get it.

I missed this episode and really would like to see a pic of the winning cake.

I think instead of renuing this show they will just give the cigar it's own show.

The winning cake was very pretty, but nothing groundbreaking. I can see why they sold so many based on the color, though--you wouldn't think that a slight change in the frosting color (to the creamy off-white) would make such a difference. I didn't like the mix of round and square, though.

Rain, I did see Shawn the next day on daytime Martha. Good grief. I seriously thought Martha was going to boot her ass through the fake skylight if she didn't shut her yap.

I'm sorry I missed seeing Shawn the next day. She just cannot shut up and I love it when people hang themselves like that.

I really didn't like the square/round cake. If they wanted to sell lots of cakes, they should have gone the traditional circle route. I really liked the off-colour...much softer than stark white, and I loved the decorations, but I think they should have gone further and made the whole cake look like brocade. Very elegant and simple, and let's face it...the majority of brides do NOT get adventurous with their wedding cakes.

The oval cake was demented. I had no problem with the oval shape and I usually love asymmetrical designs, but this was terrible. The bows were beautiful, but too feminine and they lacked sophistication. From most of the wedding stuff I've seen, it seems as though weddings is where many young women decide to make the leap from cutesy to sophisticated, and that cake looked like it was for a Hello Kitty wedding.

Martha practically told them what to make. Look through my magazines, here's what sells. But they weren't listening.
