Double our pleasure last night with TWO episodes. I'm mad at myself for Tivo'ing King of Queens & How I met your mother. There are so many replay moments from Development. Buster's comment in the board room. How did it go? "Alias is a show about a spy". Love it!
I will never stop laughing at the way he delivered that line..."ALIAS is a show about A SPY!"
And when Lucille was snarking about Michael's "English muffin," Buster muttered, "Delicious."
You're such a lovely pussy...
The whole surrogate father gag... I laughed every time.
I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! Never cancel it... ever.
OMG - I died at Buster's Alias line. Har!
And I loved the last line Ron Howard had. What was it? "Now, why did they have to bleep that? It would have been a nice moment." Or something to that effect.
And Annyong!!??! God, I love this show.
Holy crap, I about peed myself when they panned down to Annyong in the wall.
Truly, "Arrested Development" makes life worth living.
The bit where they were in the conference room talking about how the spies could be using all kinds of listening devices and you could see the boom mike peeking into frame? GENIUS.
Haha! I was just talking about the "Alias is a show about a spy" quote today. Mr. F--Mentally Retarded Female...genius! The whole affair with Buster (pretending to be George Sr.) and Gob bonding over the toy train set was hilarious.
Did this ep seem to move even faster than usual or am I just out of AD watching shape on account of the hiatus?
We had to keep rewinding so we wouldn't miss stuff - is that what you mean?
ahahah the boom! that was hilarious...
The way they pulled everything together at the end for the mini-Japanese-monster-movie - that's the kind of writing that makes this show so much better than the rest.
And omg, Anyong in the wall! And MRF! I swear to you I told my sister a few episodes ago that I couldn't figure Theron's character out - "is she really stupid or am I not getting something?" Apparently, she's really stupid! So, she must be a student at that school, right? And this explains those clothes!
"Alias is a show about a spy" - Ha!
I have a sort of on topic question: does the guy in those Capital One commercials, the one looking for his bill in the garbage and office air vents, does he remind anyone else of Buster? Especially the way he says, "Oo, my disco pants."
Exactly, FG—the jokes were coming fast and furious last night.
I think I will measure any future prospects based on whether or not they "get" the humour of this show. Now... to get some future prospects! :)
Gina - I refer to that credit card guy as wannabe Buster. It's a pretty obvious take-off on him.
Except Tony Hale is pretty cute in real life:
and the credit card guy - doubtful.
